Summer time with Bina

I can’t wait till summer; it’s when new things happen and more memories are made. It’s when you think you will have a summer fling but then it never happens. When you go to the beach, get a nice golden tan and go to midnight bonfires. You can make new friends, try new things and just let go of all the stress and tension that was built up from school.

Well, not for me. My summer will consist of work, work and more work. When everyone will be outside having a good time, I will be inside Burger King taking orders for people who are about to go to the beach. The good thing though is that I’ll have money and hopefully by the end of summer will be able to afford a new car.

My sister is getting married on August 8 so, I’m excited about that. I am a bridesmaid so I’m pretty important. My sister Reagan told me she wants me to take a week off work so that way she has my full attention before the wedding.

“Remember Bina, it’s all about me, so what I want I’m going to get” she said. She’s already in that bridezilla mode.

I’m just excited for the sun and not this cold weather anymore. Just simple things like tanning outside with a book in my hands while listening to music; that’s the life right there. I’m also excited to go back to this cabin my dad rents for us every year in Grand Haven. We are only a few steps away from the beach and its the most relaxing week ever. My dad lets all of us bring a friend with us and it’s so much fun. I get to tan, look at hot guys, and walk the beach everyday. I get to shop downtown with an ice cream cone in my hands and shades on my face. Talking about this makes me crave summer so badly. I’m excited for roasting marshmallows and having bonfires in my backyard with all my friends.

I just want summer to be here so I can relax. I really hope work doesn’t schedule me that much during the summer. I’m only 16 so I can’t work more than 24 hours per week. Work is fun sometimes but during the summer it’s gonna suck. When my friends go to the beach and they invite me and I’m going to have to tell them I have to work, that’s gonna suck. Oh well, I’m just gonna have to suck it up and enjoy the little moments. I know I’ll be okay but still I want to have fun too.

Q: What does a grape say when you step on it?

A: Nothing, it just lets out a little wine.

A little about me

Hello again my beautiful flowers. I feel like for this blog I should talk about myself a little bit so you guys can get to know me.

I have four siblings, two sisters and two brothers. Reagan is 20, engaged and is in her last year of college. Allison is 19,  married and has a child. Devon just turned 18 on  February 19. He got done with high school early and now working with my dad, who has his own business, Tim Tummons with heating and cooling (you’re welcome dad for the mention). Gabe is 11; he’s a little sixth-grade goober.  I’m 16, in tenth grade and I have no life.

I’m in a newspaper class and that’s why I started a blog site. I never thought I would be into the whole blogging thing but turns out I am.

My favorite band is the Beatles; it’s amazing, inside and out. I listen to a lot of Rock n Roll, The Romantics, Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard, bands like that. I love to read, like all the freakin time. During the summer I read maybe 70% of the day. I am currently obsessed with the band 5 Seconds of Summer. Ashton’s my favorite by the way. I love the color yellow I don’t know why but the color just makes me smile. My parents are divorced, but they’re still friends, which I think is pretty cool. Oh, and I’m currently in the process of moving. Funny thing too I’m moving only a mile away from my old house. I work at Burger King (a.k.a Bk lounge), I’ve been working there for maybe about two and half months now. Okay, I think that’s it, I know I just have so much going on I must seem super-human. Okay let’s end it with a joke. Q:What happens to a frog’s car when it breaks down?

A: It gets toad away

Blogs with Bina

Hello there, my beautiful flowers. I hope everyone is staying classy and fresh. The Sno Court dance is coming up and people are getting angry: should it be the decades theme or just the original dance where girls dress up, buy a $200 dress that doesn’t even come down to their knees, and they go with their dates but end up not even dancing with each other? The only thing we can do is wait and see how the dance will be. More people should be excited about spirit week. Monday, Pajama Day; Tuesday, frozen Day; Wednesday, Lumber-Jack Day; Thursday, Decades Day; and Friday, Spirit Day.

I’m most excited about Lumber-Jack Day. It should interesting seeing everyone wear flannel and those Timberland shoes. Frozen day should be cool too though; people might end up getting too hot though.

Okay well, I think this was a successful first blog. I hope everyone enjoyed reading the good ol’e truth. Knock Knock! Who’s there? Goat. Goat who? Goat to the door to see who’s knocking!
